ITA - Sede di scontri tra l’esercito francese ed austriaco nel 1795 e sbarramento realizzato dall’esercito italiano un secolo più tardi, il Colle del Melogno (1028m s.l.m.) con l’omonimo forte ha ricoperto un’importante funzione di difesa e protezione. Ora rappresenta l’inizio di tour spettacolari immersi nelle faggete del bosco della Barbottina.

ENG - The Colle del Melogno (1028m asl) witnessed many battles between the french and the austrian army in 1795 and was built as a barrier by the italian army one century later. It had an important role of defence and protection. Now it stands as the starting point for amazing tours deep in the Barbottina's beech wood.

DEU - Der Colle di Melogno (1028 m ü.d.M.), bereits 1795 Schauplatz erbitterter Kämpfe zwischen Österreich und Frankreich, und seine gleichnamige, im 19. Jahrhundert von den Italienern erbaute Festung, spielten einst eine wichtige Rolle als strategische Schutz- und Verteidigungszone. Heute starten von hier herrliche MTB-Touren, die durch die malerischen Buchenwälder von Barbottina führen.
