WEST to EAST COAST FINALE E-bike

Die Hochebene von Caprazoppa bietet auf rund 200 m über dem Meer herrliche Ausblicke auf die Gegend rund um Finale sowie auf Pietra Ligure und Umland. Von Borgio Verezzi aus sind die technischen Abfahrten zu den nahegelegenen Ortschaften in wechselvollem Auf und Ab zu erreichen.    

Von Finalborgo geht es in Richtung Borgio Verezzi hinauf auf die Hochebene von Caprazoppa. Diese überqueren wir, an der Kirche von San Martino vorbei, bis nach Gorra. Hier wechseln wir auf Asphalt und radeln in Richtung Montesordo, bevor wir den anschließenden Aufstieg nach Pian Marino bewältigen und den Neanderthal-Weg einschlagen - ein anspruchsvoller Trail, der neben flowigem Downhill auch Kompressionen und technische Passagen beinhaltet. Am Castello di Orco vorbei, geht’s in flottem Auf und Ab nach San Bernardino, wo wir uns an die Abfahrt nach Ruggetta machen. Über die römischen Brücken „Ponti Romani“ und nach einem Anstieg von rund einer Stunde gelangen wir nach Bric dei Crovi und freuen uns auf die herrliche Abfahrt durch die Weinberge und das anschließende Teilstück der 24h Strecke. Nach einem letzten, eben verlaufenden Abschnitt und einem weiteren Auf und Ab, gelangen wir zum Semaforo (ehemalige Militärbasis zur Küstenüberwachung) und genießen daraufhin die traumhafte Aussicht bei der finalen Abfahrt nach Noli.

Il Coast to Coast è per chi vuole divertirsi in discesa senza togliere quel poco di sforzo necessario per guadagnarsela.
